So life has been a little crazy the last few weeks, and sometimes when life is a little crazy you don't have the time to give a proper thankyou.
So this is a proper thankyou to two of my closest friends who have had a crazy couple of weeks also.
To A and M
I wanted you guys to know how much I have appreciated living with you these past two years.
Specifically I want to thankyou for believing in me and helping me create a flatting situation in which I was able to explore my dreams.
Without your support and the collaborative space we shared I would have been unable to sustain last year living as a freelance craftsman, a venture I have wanted to have for years.
I am the richer for knowing you in three ways; firstly financially, that the cost of living could have been so cheap in central Auckland.
Secondly, that I have had some corners knocked off me and been able to knock a few of your corners off too, leaving us both more beautiful and well rounded people.
Thirdly, that the possibilities of what friendship can become has broadened significantly. Many things are possible when done with others, this is something I have thought for a long time, but you guys have helped me know this as fact.
So as you guys journey into this new adventure of parenthood, I pray that you would be blessed as you have blessed, and that you would continue to live out the realities of this other world Jesus calls us to create.
With thanks and much love.
Jared
P.S. Sorry I couldn't help you move, and thanks for the card and chocolate!
