The international young writers in Press Service International (PSI) continues to shine – in this new era there are 12 of them and a sport writer.
Internationals Editor Emma Seabrook is from Melbourne (Gippsland). Emma is also an Australian young writer and attended One Day in Melbourne in last year and again this year, 3 June just past.
As way back as 2012 the PSI young writer program included young writers overseas (apart from New Zealand) and in 2014 there were enough such young writers for them to be established in their own separate week.
The internationals are mostly in Week 1 of the Cycle young writer system mainly because it is winter in the northern hemisphere. They kick start each new year as we 'down under' are in the midst of the summer break - it has little effect on the internationals (not summer holidays).

Andrew was reading Theology at the Sydney Missionary Bible College in Sydney and did not fit into the residential New Zealand list and as an international student was placed into the internationals list.

The panellists mark each international young writer article over the first five Cycles of the program, that is January to July. The policy is to try and find former or current young writers as Panellists, three are in this group, Daniel, Nathanael and Danielle.

Kandima Awendila a Mozambique young writer
Dr Mark Tronson is a Baptist minister (retired) who served as the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years (2000 ret) and established Life After Cricket in 2001. He was recognised by the Olympic Ministry Medal in 2009 presented by Carl Lewis Olympian of the Century. He mentors young writers and has written 24 books, and enjoys writing. He is married to Delma, with four adult children and grand-children.
